Main Sail Gifts opened in 1989. Located on the central Oregon coast, it is right in the heart of Newport's Historic Bayfront. Owners Brian and Janet Berg enjoy beachjcojming and love living by the ocean. Both have been on or around fishing boats and the harbor since childhood. Their home is decorated with a variety of nautical treasures, many of which come from their gift shop. They look forward going to market, looking for new and unusual "beachy" accessories to fill the store and their home.
